He is saying substantially the same thing in other interviews he is
doing today. What I find interesting is that he and MC clearly discussed Season 42 and concerns about black players being sent to the jury, but
like the whispering session at that one TC, the show chose not to
include any of this in the final edit.-a I think there was a pretty
strong backlash from all the racial talk in S41 and S42, and the show
has learned from that and is making sure it doesn't dominate the "story"
for this season.

Agreed. Only thing I can figure is that the videos weren't getting
enough views to justify the costs of producing and editing the videos.
They stopped doing these around the same time they reduced the length of
the season and made several budget cuts.

about the racial makeup of the jury, so that confirms they did talk

If nothing was said in last week's episode I can't see that changing
this week. When Sage was crying, Jawan said to her something like
"things didn't work out for us," implying they made a mistake. It's
clear there's two sides and race has nothing to do with the boots.
People seem to be forgetting that Sage and Jawan were on Savannah's side
and that she was more than willing to work with them. They turned on her
and their sloppy game play was a huge factor in Sophie flipping over to Savannah.

It's also worth noting that as far as we know, MC is the ONLY
participant who felt this was a critically important issue that would influence strategy.-a Jawan went out of his way in both interviews to try
to distance himself from the issue by saying that while he respected
MC's views on this, his top priority was that he was playing for himself
and for his family.-a In other words, his opinions/decisions on who to
vote out were based strictly on strategy and on what made best sense for
his own chances of winning.
By the way, in that context, he also said in both interviews that he was essentially "broke" and that winning money for his family was all he was concerned about while playing.
And while he acknowledged talking to Kristina about this, he never
really said was her position was.-a It could just be that MC was the only player who really cared to make a point of this, and perhaps that's a
part of why the show hasn't called attention to it.
