Which story sound better?

We invited all the winners back for the reunion.
We invited all the winners back for the reunion except the people we
don't like.

Seems easy enough to see why they went with the first story even
if it doesn't fit reality.

That is definitely interesting. My guess is the show did send out invitations, maybe by email, and Hatch either missed the invitation or
is just trying to stir something up.

Alternate thought. Maybe Hatch has actually been banned from the show,
and when they said they invited all past winners, they really meant all
past winners minus those permanently banned.

From a marketing standpoint, the second. But since Jeff isn't into that
type of stuff anymore I can see why they went from the first.

Seems easy enough to see why they went with the first story even
if it doesn't fit reality.

I can't see CBS paying for airfares for 40+ people so I wonder if it's possible Hatch didn't want to pay to fly out.

I don't think it's anything he said - I think it's mainly the fact that
he caused the show to have to make a big settlement payment to Sue Hawk
for Rich brushing his naked body up against her in All-Stars. I think
there is also continued annoyance that Rich continued to complain for
years (despite denials from the show) that Mark Burnett "promised" to
pay the taxes owed from his million dollar prize.
