• Warning, I would suggest staying away from Twitter if you don't want spoilers

I thought the spoilers over on Twitter were light but it's so
much worse. Apparently someone on the inside knew the winner
before the season started and placed big bets on the winner
    of this season.

I'm not going to say but when the votes start out at 89% on
one person to win before the season started you have to wonder if
the winner has been spoiled. Especially when no one would pick
this person as a likely winner. It also begins to explain the edits we
have been seeing. Personally, I don't see many people as a likely
winner at this point. Only a few have made the sort of moves that I,
as a viewer, can see as earning a win. So something needs to change
    over the next few episodes.

I wonder if this shocking event on tonight's episode will help explain
why someone would win. People are speculating we get someone hurt in
this floating challenge which could take out a likely winner.

It's odd that there are apparently spoilers about who the winner is
given that we are doing a live reunion this time which suggests they
will read the final votes live on air. So even if a player talked, you
would think all they could really spoil was who makes final three.
You'd have to be a member of the production team to know for sure who
    the winner is

Seems the spoilers this season have been the most flagrant in a while.
They're not to the level of ChillOne back in Survivor 6 (which were so flagrant the show supposedly changed the editing on the season to try to counteract them) or the Russell Hantz spoilers from 19 and 20, but they
do reflect the players' increasing use of social media during the
season. I hope the show learns from this and cracks down on players
talking during a season on which they appear.

I don't know if it played a part but being able to put real money on
the winner could have led to players leaking their votes. It's a real
danger with these betting markets open to betting on almost anything.
Stephenie is certainly getting a bit of a spanking from other posters
over what seems to be a spoiler from her over the next boot or two.

Oh, and speaking of Russel Hantz he is apparently in the running for a
few reality shows. No idea what he is going for but don't be surprised
to see him show up on one or more shows over the next year.

When they did live reunions in the past, they always did the vote read
live on air, so I don't know why they would change that this year.

I agree that Jonathan or Joe could be a no-vote finalist. I think Joe
could become the first player to be a zero vote finalist on two

    Save me.

The show elected not to sue Hantz for violating his NDA when he
disclosed spoilers about S20 because he was about to appear on S22. I'm pretty sure the NDA had a penalty of $5 million for disclosing secrets.
I wonder if Jeff ever regrets not suing him over that?

Yeah, that's what appears to have happened. On Kalshi (I had never
heard of this one) they had people betting on who wins Survivor 50
before the game got underway. The predicted winner had a 89% chance
according to the bets. Even now it's at I think 68%.

And now we Stephenie backing up her 'prediction' from last week with
the betting stats for tomorrow night's evictee being at 87% and
matching the one she said was going to pay the price for voting her
out. Which sure makes it look like Steph was leaking results in her
own way by trying to hide it as only being who she thought would pay a
    price for that vote.

Yeah, I got spoiled just looking for reactions to Deven's winning the

Deven's winning that idol. Joe couldn't even be happy for doubling the

I would expect them to have read the results back on the island and
just talk about them during the reunion. Either way there's been more
than enough time that you know people have talked about their votes.
Plus it's possible we end up with one winner and two no chance people
in the final three. Think anyone and Joe and Jonathan has the final
three. Other than say Stephenie I can't see anyone voting for Joe or
Jonathan as the winner for the season.

Seems the spoilers this season have been the most flagrant in a while.
They're not to the level of ChillOne back in Survivor 6 (which were so
flagrant the show supposedly changed the editing on the season to try to
counteract them) or the Russell Hantz spoilers from 19 and 20, but they
do reflect the players' increasing use of social media during the

He said he was in the running for four shows and has agreed to do one.
He said to stay soon. I doubt it's The Traitors. Would be kind of cool
if it was BB. Willie was feeds gold until they removed him instead of
    the troublemakers Joe and Janelle.

I agree that Jonathan or Joe could be a no-vote finalist.-a I think Joe
could become the first player to be a zero vote finalist on two
    different seasons.

I agree. He's done nothing this season except hate on Devens. It's too
bad Eva had school. She would have been a way better casting choice.

Well they had a male-female balance to deal with, so Joe would have to
be replaced by a New Era male player, maybe Jessie or Sam unless they
also had an age quota or they considered Joe to be racially mixed and
maybe he met some target with that. Similarly, adding Eva would
probably mean dropping Emily or Genevieve.

I'm actually not sure they would bring Eva back, since her story was
told pretty well on S48 and she really took up a lot of the edit and
consumed a lot air time that season. I kind of think they might think
she would be too big a distraction if they brought her back so soon
    after her original season.

The 40s have definitely been picked over for S50 so I really don't think there's enough of a pool of eligible returning players, especially if
Jeff follows his rule of wanting joyful players who really embraced the
game in a positive manner. Even if they do another Fans vs. Favorites
or Blood vs. Water with returning players, they'd still need 9 or 10
returning players, and I'm honestly not sure who Jeff would pick. Even
if you go with Sam and Jessie and say Maryann, since they dropped her
from S50, and Eva if she is available, and maybe Sophi, you still need
another four or five quality players and I honestly don't know who
they'd go with. I'm not even sure they'd take Sam and Jessie, since I
kind of doubt they exemplify the positivity Jeff seems to want from
returnees. I just don't really think there are enough quality players
from the 40s that they could fill half the cast with compelling
    returning players.

After S50, I can't see them doing anymore celeb tie-ins for a while
unless it's an ex-athlete, etc. actually playing the game. Travis Kelce would be a good choice. Taylor would love him out of her hair for five
or six weeks so she can write songs or rehearse for a tour.

I think Kelce would be too cutsey a selection, even for Jeff, and I
doubt he would do the series. He would almost certainly be an early
boot, much as Jimmy Johnson was in his season.
