Ah, the last(?) of the Disney+ exclusives... for now... sounds as if,
even if this method of distribution was inspired by the strike, it might continue with a few episodes each season going forward, and I'm not
really looking forward to that. I guess we'll see.

Anyway, fine gag-driven fantasy episode, like a looser version of the three-story anthology episodes set in alternate universes. Not
surprisingly, given the narwhal presence, it reminded me most of
Futurama's "Naturama" (7ACV13) (and Zoidberg even made a brief
appearance!). No other major thoughts. Yet I do wonder why Ralph and
Nelson (if not more) got multiple roles.

Technical info, by the way: just over 22 minutes with credits, though a
minute and a half of dub credits cause the D+ entry to list it as 24. 3
normal acts with ad breaks in between, and separate credits.

Not surprisingly given the production code, this episode still has
Pamela Hayden as the voices of Milhouse and Jimbo, prior to her recent retirement.

I watched it after Andor S2's 3 eps. (good and dang) since I saw it on
D+ home page and was still logged in. It was an OK ep. Did Disney
even announce this episode before Earth Day?

The existence (and title/code) of it had been known about for weeks or
maybe a few months, and the debut date for a few weeks. Don usually
    updates both
    simpsonsarchive.com/guides/episode_list.html and simpsonsarchive.com/upcoming.shtml
with things like that as soon as they're available, though there did
indeed seem to be very little publicity for Yellow Planet; even that
upcoming episodes page said "details to be announced" in lieu of a brief description until the morning or afternoon of April 22. Not sure why it
was played so close to the vest!

(Also, I didn't make the Earth Day connection at all. Gee, could have
been a great angle for publicity!)
