• OT RFTHP? How can a plea be perjury.

    No cite.

Maybe I'm listening to sources that are spinning the latest in the Flynn saga, but it seems that the judge has said that Flynn's plea was perjury.

How can a plea be perjury? If it can be, then wouldn't it be reasonable for defendants to refuse to plea on A5 grounds? And if that's the case, then how could cases move forward? Could judges still enter pleas for defendants that refuse to plea?

Reneging on the plea done under oath, could be perjury.

This guy certainly views things that way. Although I think this guy has TDS.

I wonder what Jack would do if he wanted to drop charges against a defendant and the judge did something like what Sullivan did. The closest I can remember to this is a judge imposing a much harsher sentence after a plea deal.
