• I Disagree With Rush!

Rush wants the quarantine to end. I'd like it at least kept in nursing homes.

Maybe those like me who have no visitors could be separated and kept in isolation apart from the rest.

As the staff that serves you walks in and out of the building, then there's always going to be the likely hood that they will be infected by a visitor who is contagious but asymptomatic.

When the staff enters the building their temperature is taken and all must wear masks at all time plus gloves for any resident contact.

Residents have their temperature taken every day.

Aren't people contagious before they are symptomatic?

I don't know. I've not been paying that much attention since I'm safe inside. --- Synchronet 3.21d-Linux NewsLink 1.2

It looks like it might be easier to catch it indoors.

That's why I like the safety precautions here. They have made a special quarantine room if any residents were to come down with it.

Come down with it? IIRC they've already been contagious for a few days.
