    I think the potential for damage is too great to let that go on.
    They have a right, which should be supported, to peacefully protest, but a lot of what we're seeing is violence. And violence includes destruction of property. Even if they later claim that insurance will cover it all, because of course, anyone who has ever filed an insurance claim knows that it won't.
    During the 'mostly peaceful protests' about Breonna Taylor, two LEOs were shot. That's not protesting.
    I'm not sure that it's time to send in Federal troops, but in at least one state, the State Police were Federalized and so they can take the people they arrest on Federal charges. This, I think legally, by-passes state authorities who do catch and release.
