    A couple of things that Seattle knows: CHAZ is a small part of the Capitol Hill district (IrCOve been there years ago) and is mostly an urban residential area a couple of mile away from the downtown part of the city, so hardly a city take over here.
    Remember that werCOre still in some stage of lockdown and probably many protesters are jobless and others on summer vacation. Will that change if all jobs re-open?
    Seattle is known for activity. There was a big strike there after WWI and all the demonstrations against trade policy at the centuryrCOs turn. Seattle got through them, so Seattlans may not be quite so worried as those not from the area.

    I'm not worried about Seattle. I'm worried about the US. Perhaps I'm just feeling a little more pessimistic than usual, but I feel that this all has the potential to go bad. Very bad.

    Yeah, the violence is right wing. So the solution for peace is just to allow white supremacy and police brutality to continue?
    All those pictures of the dudes with with their assault rifles is sickingly amusing. Even cops trained to shoot miss 80% of the time. These guys will just point in a general direction and start spraying; end up killing each other once the shooting starts and likely run off the moment they see what happens to one of their buddyrCOs head when a high volume shell hits it.

    Solution? It's not clear to me that people want a solution. If people had wanted a solution they wouldn't have started rioting and looting and participated in mobs tearing down public property without due process. There could have been a discussion. But we're past that point now. There won't be a discussion. There will just be a Wendy's in Atlanta burnt down and charges against a cop that make no sense.
