• Steve Burton hints at a major recast and some non spoiler stuff for week ending 911 2026

Today is 9/11. We all have our sad memories from that day.
Prayers for those who suffered as a result in any way.

I read an interview with Burton (Jason), where he gives some hints about a legacy character recast. It is clear that Jason will have scenes with him,
and the character comes from prime time programs.

rCLHerCOs been an actor for a long, long time,rCY Burton said of his new co-star.

Social media feel Jax is the most likely recast. Followed by Nic.

Most of the past couple days covered Justine and Trina making Brook Lynn
feel guilty about her failure to disclose her role in the accident.

JustinerCOs speech and disdainful looks might have hit harder if she werenrCOt having a secret affair with Sonny. Victimless? We will see.

TrinarCOs angry words were equally hard for me to swallow, consider
everything she and Kai let spin out of control by failing to disclose their presence during DrewrCOs shooting.

It will be interesting if yet another different black BMW Suv turns out to
    be culpable.

As far as BrennanrCOs shooting, looks like Nina will be the wrong suspect for
a while. AvarCOs trying to convince Nina to forget Brennan was a great
scene. Her failure to disclose made an interesting contrast to the
failures of Trina and Brook. Will be interesting to see how Ava will
handle it when her BFF Nina is arrested, since she is one of two people who know Nina is innocent.

Social media feel Jax is the most likely recast. Followed by Nic.

Time will tell. The writers sort of dismissed the Jax character from participation in the current story when they sent him off on a solo
sailing trip around the world without a communications device. But I
guess they might have changed their minds. If it's Nik...? Would they
bring him back while his mama is on vacation? I guess they might do, but
ugh, I hope not. We have quite enough Cassadines at the moment, thank
you, and don't need another. But if they must bring Nik back, then I
would welcome a recast, and hope he's a keeper, whoever he is. None of
the previous four worked for me at all. (Were there four? I count four,
but I think there were a few temps too, tho I can't bring any of them to
    mind.)

Most of the past couple days covered Justine and Trina making Brook Lynn
feel guilty about her failure to disclose her role in the accident.

Trina went beyond just a "failure to report" grievance. She has an
emotional need to hang on to the belief that Brook Lynn saw the accident
and left Jordan and Curtis to die. I guess it justifies her anger and
    her refusal to forgive.

JustineAs speech and disdainful looks might have hit harder if she werenAt having a secret affair with Sonny. Victimless? We will see.

Even if she weren't having an affair with Sonny, she still would have
had no business voicing a personal opinion during a meeting intended to
resolve a legal issue. Very unprofessional and downright tacky behavior.

TrinaAs angry words were equally hard for me to swallow, consider
everything she and Kai let spin out of control by failing to disclose their presence during DrewAs shooting.

Maybe someone will point that out to her eventually. Maybe it will be
Kai. But whoever does it should wait until she's come down from her high
horse (something she inherited from judgy Curtis) to avoid having her
wrath turned on them, too. She's all self-righteousness and hot spit
right now, and doesn't believe for one minute that Brook Lynn didn't see
Jordan and Curtis run off the road. Not for one minute! Her words. So I
guess her conviction in that belief is based on...what? An investigative recreation of the accident? Rearview line of sight measurements from the
exact location where BLQ regained control of her car? No? Hmm.

    <snip>

As far as BrennanAs shooting, looks like Nina will be the wrong suspect for

I can't see mercenary Ava confessing to crimes just to keep Nina out of
prison. Maybe Charlotte's bracelet will end up exonerating Nina somehow.
If Nina's case goes to trial, the bracelet might give the jury
reasonable doubt to return a not guilty verdict. But secrets don't stay
secrets long on GH, and Nina is sure to find out how Ava really picked
up her little six-legged hitchhiker, so expect fireworks. That's not a prediction--it's happened before, and more than once.

It really does seem like Trina is channeling Curtis. Choosing to believe
that Brook Lyn saw the accident without any actual reason to, just like
Curtis did with Isaiah, and being so judgemental about Brook Lyn's
silence, when she and Kai did essentially the same thing for a similar
reason, not wanting to get in trouble for trespassing/burglary in Drew's house.

Trina and Kai's silence is even worse in a way. It allowed Willow to get
away with attempted murder, which had already happened. Brook Lyn
keeping quiet led to an assault in the future, not even close to murder.

Not that Brook Lyn's behaviors were not reprehensible. Once aware that
Curtis incorrectly had zeroed in on Isaiah, Brook Lyn absolutely and immediately should have come forward. It might have avoided a lot of heartache. Although there's no guarantee Curtis would not have found
some other reason to assault Isaiah, especially given Isaiah's tendency
    to bait Curtis.

It does seem likely that Nina will be in a load of trouble based upon
one unfortunate public argument with Brennan. Keeping in mind that the
WSB does not generally concern itself with such niceties as probable
cause and due process. Even less than the PCPD does. Nina could be
whisked away to Jakarta or Steinmauer without any warning at all.

It is a minor point. Trina wrote off both her parents a few months ago.
She told them that their spat was taking too much of a mental toll. She
told them she would contact them when she felt ready.

Seems to me her rage has now been transferred from the parents to Brook.

    Or not.

Let us see how she deals with all this before her stalker changes her focus
    yet again.

Yes, and I would be pulling for Kai. He's really grown on me and IMO he
and Trina make a good couple. And as awful as Trina is behaving right

Agreed. The assault couldn't possibly have been predicted as a direct consequence of BLQ's failure to come forward, unlike Willow's acquittal,
which could have and should have been predicted as a direct consequence
of Trina and Kai failing to report what they had witnessed. But of
course Trina (aka Curtis Jr) wouldn't see it that way because BLQ's
precious daddy wasn't sent to prison as a result of *her* failure to

Completely agree. Isaiah told Portia last week that Curtis hates him and
will always find something to be mad at him about. I think he's right,
and that it won't be long before something else about Isaiah offends
    Curtis.

Ha ha, that expense was chump change to Tracy. Instead of adding to
Jordan's grievance, BLQ could take steps to lessen it. Even tho she
isn't responsible for Jordan's injuries, if she were to use her family's
clout to get Jordan in with the plastic surgeon who miraculously cured
Michael, and then paid for the reconstructive surgery, Jordan might
soften her attitude and eventually come around to seeing the situation reasonably.

But if BLQ were to offer such a thing, Curtis and Trina would
immediately jump on it as evidence of mens rea, something that could be
used against BLQ in a civil suit. And maybe Jordan would agree with
them, but be conflicted about supporting Curtis's suit because she would
want to accept the offer, which could create friction with Curtis. If
Curtis wants to sue BLQ for some BS claim--mental anguish, loss of
wages, etc etc--but Jordan wants to take BLQ's offer, then arguably,
Curtis's case might become a bit weaker. Not that he really would have a
case in the first place, but this is the PC universe, where anything
    goes.
