Last week, Isaiah told Portia he was dropping his suit against Curtis. Lawsuitery is always stressful. In this case, even more so, given how unforgiving and revenge minded Curtis has been. Pursuit of this lawsuit
would likely drive an even larger divide between Trina and her parents.

Even though he has dropped, we know he can change his mind.

I really wasnrCOt thinking much beyond that when thinking about the hand injury.

But, I was watching rCLHigh PotentialrCY, (ABCrCOs highly rated Sherlock Holmes in a miniskirt).

In one of the earlier 2024, a generic mom character appeared, and even
though it was a brief appearance, she looked very familiar. Shelley
Robertson portrayed Dede Clark, the hospital attorney. She dealt with Finn
and his malpractice case, and a bit with CyrusrCO angel of death issue.

So, I started wondering whether they are going to set up Isaiah for a malpractice scenario associated with residuals of the injury.

This is pure speculation. I know he was offered a good prognosis.
Moreover, we have been seeing him doing things that suggest good recovery.
He certainly had no problem at all during the Trina avoidance dinner with Portia. He has been taking care of the baby. Probably changing diapers
and feeding. And doing doctor stuff, like extracting ticks.

I wonder if they will just drop this hand injury story, or revive it in
some new story in the future.

Time will tell. If they can make an enormous dramatic thing of a
malpractice suit based on Isaiah's botching of a surgery (or a tick
extraction) because his hand wasn't completely healed when he performed
it, then that's what will happen. But if I had to guess, I'd say that
when the cast comes off, that will be the end of Isaiah's hand boo boo.

But not so fast! The end of the hand boo boo could itself be the cause
of an enormous dramatic thing that they could drag out for months and
months. No doubt when Curtis hears Isaiah has made a full recovery and
is back to transplanting innards, he will stew and fume until smoke
comes out of his ears because there he sits in prison for causing a
problem for Isaiah that no longer exists. He might even make a Faustian
bargain with Jenz "Mephistopheles" Sidwell to make life very difficult
for Isaiah. And then it would be off to the races!
