Sidwell is expected to appear in the future.
The article suggests he will be seen in jail talking to another inmate.
Wednesday episode ended with a cliffhanger. The jury has come to a verdict to be announced Thursday, today, Aug 13, 2026.
Bet Curtis will be found guilty and will hatch some plots involving Sidwell and Jordan.

I suspected we hadn't seen the last of Sidwell. He was such a big part
of things for quite a long time, it just seemed unlikely they would have written him out overnight.
Curtis probably *will* be Sidwell's cell mate, never mind that someone
with Sidwell's sordid criminal history belongs in a supermax, not in a
state prison like Pentonville. Since that's where they insist on
stashing Sidwell, he shouldn't be paired up in a cell with someone whose
only crime was punching someone in the face. But I suppose if Sidwell
had been put in a supermax, there wouldn't be a chance for Curtis to spy
on him or act against Sidwell in some way to earn himself an early
release. And of course once released, he can take up where he left off tormenting Isaiah and Portia. I'm holding out hope that he'll be knocked
off his high horse when it's discovered that little Desmond's paternity
test had been botched and Isaiah is the father.
All that aside, this stuff about Sidwell's assets being auctioned off
because he was sentenced to prison is nonsense. Assets acquired by
criminal means could be seized, but according to what Jordan told Val,
Sidwell had several legitimate business ventures. There would need to be investigations into his finances to determine what was and what was not acquired through illegal means. That could take months or even years.
Yet the vultures began to circle before the prison gate had slammed
shut. There was also no mention of assets being seized to pay
restitution to injured parties. Everything was just ordered auctioned
off with the stroke of a pen.
I get that they need to take shortcuts for the sake of storytelling, but
it wouldn't require more than a line or two from Molly (when she was
whining about having canceled her book tour and party for nothing)
mentioning that assets had been seized and would be auctioned to pay restitution to this victim or that for this crime or that. Sloppy.
