Willow fell asleep. The kids are safe. But Jacinda and MichaelAs
relationship is almost certainly over.
Not sorry. I've never put much into the "opposites attract" thing. I
suppose it happens, but those two aren't opposites, they're
incongruencies. And with Jacinda out of the picture, the
rewritten-as-a-ho Serena is sure to swoop in and start digging for gold.
Joss tells CARLY about Jax turning the company over for Joss to run.
He has gone off the grid. The family isnAt surprised. Jax had been
planning a lengthy cruise for some time. They arenAt surprised he is incommunicado. He was seeking peace and quiet.
I donAt think they know for certain he is on a cruise. Seems like a guess based on past discussions.
Sounds to me like BS from an unreliable source (Hudson), who made up a
story that he thought might be believed because everyone knows Jax to be
a sort of impulsive surfer dude. And it sounded not so much like Jax was
on a cruise than that he took off on his own to circumnavigate the globe
on who knows what type of boat. (Something like the Kon-Tiki, no doubt.)
In any event, no one is suspicious. Even tho Jax never discussed any plan
to cede his interest in the company to Joss.
Why would a heretofore highly competent businessman do something so rash.
No one is asking the right questions.
There are suggestions that perhaps Jax is silent he has been kidnapped or killed.
Could be. But if true, whether killed or kidnapped, it coincides
suspiciously with Carly telling Jax that Joss was in the WSB.
This story is just bizarre. Assume Hudson is committing some sort of
fraud. How could Hudson be so certain Joss would have no interest in the company? He was begging her to run the company. What was he planning if
she decided to helm the company?
Assuming the "offer" is even real, Joss is under no legal obligation to
take over her dad's company and should have told Hudson to pound sand.
All that stuff Val heaped on her about it being on *her* to make sure
that the people who worked for the company weren't left out in the cold
was ludicrous. If Joss declines the offer, the company remains Jax's
company and Jax's responsibility. She's not obligated to consult with
the management to find the best person to be CEO. She's not obligated to
make sure the employees don't lose their jobs. She is free to decline
the offer, and if she does, no transfer will take place. Jax will still
be CEO, and his employees will still be his employees.
IMO, since Val "The Shark" Cassadine has nothing better to do but chop vegetables and obsess over his odd little daughter, he could fly down to Australia and do a bit of spying on Joss's behalf. That would be a good
way to earn brownie points with Carly. Or if Joss has nothing better to
do than run around town telling anyone who will listen that she's in the
WSB, maybe she should fly down there and start snooping around herself.
