I guess it is to make room for Serena?

Probably. The question is whose parental rights case will be hurt more
by what Jacinda did, Michael's or Willow's? Michael's, because it might
be suspected he put Jacinda up to drugging Willow, or Willow's, because
it might be suspected that she got hammered and drove around with the
    kids in the car?

I guess it is to make room for Serena?

No doubt that's the plan. Instead of making Jacinda do something awful
to cause Michael to dump her, they could easily have gone with a
scenario closer to the way things work IRL: Michael sees someone he
finds even more attractive than his current girlfriend, and dumps his girlfriend with some lame line like, "the spark has gone out of our relationship and I think we need to see other people."

Agreed fully with all your observations in all your posts today.

Not sure if you have seen the Friday episode yet.

It includes a strange scene with someone trying to convince Joss she is now
the CEO of the Jax empire.

Seems like they are setting her up to be defrauded of her wealth. She may
have to use her super sleuth skills soon. I cannot otherwise fathom what
that was about other than to set up a new adventure for her.

Yes, I've seen the Friday episode, and you're probably right. They seem
to be trying to draw Joss into the Ethan/Delilah/Phoebe thing. The
someone was the guy called Hudson who followed Ethan to Oslo and beat
him up in the hotel room. He told Ethan that he had crossed the wrong
people. I guess he works for the person or group Ethan warned Ava was
the worse thing she could possibly imagine. It's not likely he also
works for Jax, is it? It can't be on the up and up. Hudson seemed
surprised that Joss was WSB, but his surprise could have been fake. Too
    early to tell.

When Hudson told Joss why he was there, rather than argue with him, she
should have shut him down, walked out, called her dad's company at the
number in her contacts (not a number slimy Hudson might have given her),
spoken to her dad's assistant (a person she should know well), asked the assistant if her dad had left instructions for someone to contact her
regarding transfer of his office, and if he had, instructed the
assistant to email or text her the name, credentials and photo of the
person who had been sent with the paperwork. I would have done exactly
that in Joss's position, and I'm not trained as a spy, so you'd think
she would have had the sense to do at least that much. That said,
transfers of even small companies don't happen like that, let alone
billion dollar ones. Whoever this guy Hudson is, he's immune to jet lag.
