Any ideas what Brick might be working on to make Carly and Val break up?

It looks like GH has been chem testing potential couples this week.

Maybe what Brick has in mind is to reconnect Jason and Carly on a romantic level.

Maybe Jason did some soul searching this time and realized Carly is what he always wanted. Maybe that is the big change we have heard about.

In the meantime, many think Charlotte is about to set her sights on Gio. Charlotte isnrCOt the centered teen with normal teen emotions.

She is a kooky Cassadine with a cruel streak who will do what she has to,
in order to get what she wants.

Years ago, she planted a snake in AvarCOs bag. Then she stalked Anna and
spray painted her hotel room. At one point, Val left Charlotte with Lulu because he wanted her to correct the bad seed tendencies.

Emma vs. Charlotte could get interesting. Emma is no shrinking violet.

Whatever it is has something to do with that little black thing he gave
her that looks like a thumb drive but could be a pill box with a poison
pill in it, or whatever passes for Cassadine kryptonite.

That worked out so well. Honestly, the only way to get rid of odd little Charlotte's bad seed tendencies is to stick a straw in her head and suck
out every last bit of Cassadine DNA from her gray cells.

Emma vs. Charlotte could get interesting. Emma is no shrinking violet.

She's not, but she won't be looking for an ambush coming from the
direction of weird little Charlotte Spencer-Cassadine (operative name, "Cassadine").

I havenrCOt seen WednesdayrCOs show yet. I wondered about that, too. But I read something about it being the anniversary of JasonrCOs proposal to Sam, and something about a lost engagement ring.

There may be a reasonable explanation why, for once, he didnrCOt go running
to Carly.

Noting your comment on the Brick box. I wasnrCOt looking at the screen when that happened. Thanks for filling me in.

I was interested in BrickrCOs comment about his plan taking some time to implement. If the plan includes info concerning that item, it must not be intended to cause immediate reactions by Carly. TBD

Given Carly's infatuation with Val, Brick doesn't expect things to
happen right away, but when they do, and the scales finally fall from
Carly's eyes, he expects her to see Val for who and what he is and will
use the contents of the thumb drive/box to rid Sonny of the threat he
believes Val poses to Donna.

Carly is seen clutching the thing Brick gave her as she embraced Val,
which would seem to indicate that she has not dismissed Brick's warning.
If that thing is a thumb drive with evidence on it that can incriminate
Val, given that Carly is still in infatuation mode and still dismissive
of Val's bad deeds, she's not likely to act on that evidence now. But
when the relationship goes south, as it surely will, she's almost
certain to act on it, especially if she perceives Val as a threat to her
kids.

I don't much expect that we'll see the end of Val when Carly sours on
him, but I would like it very much if we would. Val is a creepy creep
who creeps me out. I have had it up to the eyeballs with Cassadines. I
can tolerate Alexis, Molly, and Danny, but only because they haven't
exhibited psycho behaviors. Kristina is a psycho, who in a few weeks or
months could be a brain surgeon, capable of implanting chips in people's
heads, inspired by her psycho step granny Helena. Psycho Nik is in jail,
but he won't stay there. Charlotte is *extremely* odd, but her behavior
can be explained as that of a disaffected teen, tho of course she could
easily turn into a psycho overnight by virtue of her psycho DNA. The ridiculously named Ace has not a snowball's chance in hell of being
anything *but* a psycho, considering his parentage. Have I left out
anyone? Could those possibly be the only Cassadines left in this Cassadine-plagued town? Of course the undead ones could turn up at any
moment, and usually do....

Nik. We are still waiting for his release, and I, for one, am amazed at his absence. Should have served out his sentence by now. Or received a pardon
or commutation or something!

It is clear that casting is an issue. The last two guys, Huss and Coloma, barely cut it with fans.

Coloma was seriously ill for the past year or so.

Do they even have a story line ready for a Nik return, anyway?

Well, his psycho-to-be spawn is in Ireland, and Ava has found another
boy toy, so let's hope he stays put in the pokey for awhile longer. The
fewer Cassadines, the better, I say.
