Are the casting directors expressing preference for a type?
Young guys with dark hair? Could be. Or it could be that it isn't a
preference for a type, but just that he was the only person who showed
up to audition who could do a passable job. They cast a dark haired,
brown eyed actor as Michael Corinthos, whose biological parents are both
blond and blue eyed. You'd think they could have found a Michael who
would have you wondering if as a baby he'd been left on the doorstep in
a basket.
Officer Fitzpatrick and new Dr. Tristan look so much alike.
Maybe they will turn out to be long lost brothers?
They don't look alike at all to me, just two young guys with dark hair.
Of course that won't mean they won't be related, tho I doubt they will
be. There's no family resemblance among blood relatives on GH. Even
identical twins look nothing alike. For all we know the new doctor, the
new detective, and the new Michael might all turn out to be identical
triplets. But probably not.
I think I may have mentioned this elsewhere: new Dr. Tristan was named in honor of Tristan Rogers (Scorpio)
Yes, that's it. The character's name is Tristan Roberts. I wonder if
it's a coincidence that he's an Aussie, or if they intended to cast one.
