We need to talk about the odd thing that happened between Chase and Willow.
It is so bizarre, I am convinced it was a dream.

Chase suddenly, out of nowhere, flipped on his detective switch. He has
gotten nearly everything wrong. He misread Nelle, and continues acting
    blindly about Willow.

Yet, somehow, he achieved sentience on Friday, connected all the clues, and determined his wife Brook Lynn framed Willow. More astonishingly, Brook
    Lynn admitted it.

Is he going to turn her in? DoesnrCOt he have to?

The Lulu and Carly argument was also quite interesting. In another thread, Kaitlin mentioned that there was no one who would have turned in fugitive
Val. She mentioned Lulu and I agree. As much as she resents Val, it isnrCOt likely she would have turned him in at that time. She is a little more
angry now, tho. After her earlier argument with Val and later with Carly,
who knows what she might do.

In the meantime, Joss supposedly negotiated the deal with Z mostly to
prevent any criminal charges to be levied against Carly for harboring a fugitive. In her mind, if Val was exonerated, Carly couldnrCOt be charged.

Is this true tho? Her act of harboring Val was a crime. He was a criminal,
at the time, and she knew he was and had every intention to commit the
    crime.

Does the law care whether Val was finally exonerated?

Joss only negotiated for Jason and Val. She should have obtained some sort
    of immunity for her mom.

Of course, there is no one in the current PC world seeking revenge against Charly. Except for maybe Lulu and Brennan. TBD

Or it could have been her deer in the headlights facial expressions that
    clued him in.

More astonishingly, Brook Lynn admitted it.

That *was* astonishing. And dumb. What a time to decide to start not
lying to judgy Chase! If I were her, I think I'd put it off until
something less consequential happened that I needed to lie about.

Is he going to turn her in? DoesnAt he have to?

If Chase's loyalties lie with his wife rather that with Willow, he can
chose to keep his mouth shut and he and BLQ can deal with the problem
between themselves, as Dante did with his son when he found out Rocco
had shot Cullum. My advice to Chase would be to circle the wagons. But
Chase is a judgy person with misplaced loyalties, who does not see
shades of gray, only blacks and whites. So my guess is that even if he
does manage to stop himself from reporting BLQ for conspiring to file a
false police report, he could turn on her and take up with Willow. Then
once he finds out that Willow is a psycho, as he will eventually, he can
charge back in to rescue BLQ, who by then will certainly have fallen on
hard times without him (in his own mind, of course).

The Lulu and Carly argument was also quite interesting. In another thread, Kaitlin mentioned that there was no one who would have turned in fugitive Val.

Not Val, Carly. There would have been no one who would have reported
Carly for harboring a fugitive. Except for Brennan and Nina, but neither
of them had a shred of proof.

She mentioned Lulu and I agree. As much as she resents Val, it isnAt
likely she would have turned him in at that time. She is a little more
angry now, tho. After her earlier argument with Val and later with Carly, who knows what she might do.

Actually, my argument was that no one would have ratted on *Carly*, not
Val. Sonny and Jason would have ratted on Val in a heartbeat--Sonny, if
he'd known about it when Val was in the attic, and Jason, if Carly
hadn't asked him to keep mum.

In the meantime, Joss supposedly negotiated the deal with Z mostly to
prevent any criminal charges to be levied against Carly for harboring a fugitive. In her mind, if Val was exonerated, Carly couldnAt be charged.

Is this true tho? Her act of harboring Val was a crime. He was a criminal, at the time, and she knew he was and had every intention to commit the
    crime.

Does the law care whether Val was finally exonerated?

Harboring is a crime independent of the crime Val committed for which
charges were dropped. Carly could be charged for harboring Val, even tho charges against Val had been dropped.

Joss only negotiated for Jason and Val. She should have obtained some sort
    of immunity for her mom.

She could have done that, and she could also have left Val out of the
bargain completely. She could have asked for Jason's release and Carly's immunity from prosecution for harboring. Too bad she didn't. I really
would love to have PC rid of Cassadines at long last.

Of course, there is no one in the current PC world seeking revenge against Charly. Except for maybe Lulu and Brennan. TBD

I doubt Lulu will seek revenge--it was an intense family disagreement
that the two cousins will get over eventually. Brennan might not seek
revenge, but he could always use charging Carly with harboring as
leverage to stop her seeking revenge against him for exploiting Joss.

Joss seems to be operating under the belief that Carly will be free from prosecution because charges have been dropped against Val. That's the
reason she gave Val for including in her bargain with Zee. That's not
the way it works IRL, but apparently in PC reality, once Val's crime is
wiped from the books, the crimes of everyone associated with it,
everyone who aided and abetted Val in the commission of it, are also
wiped from the books. That should include not only Carly, but everyone associated with the Pikeman group who had been involved in Val's illegal activities. Probably not what Joss intended, but no matter. It's
doubtful the plot wasn't gamed out that far.

As for Carly needing Jason to rush to her rescue, no worries, she'll
come up with something soon enough. The woman attracts trouble like a
    banana does fruit flies.

Correction: That should read, "it's doubtful that the plot was gamed out
that far." Not doubtful it wasn't gamed, doubtful it was gamed. Sorry.
Not enough caffeine, I guess. :(
