There are never cameras in Port Charles if it would interfere with the
plot. Like when Sonny shot Jagger.
Also, the safe with super-confidential documents belonging to Sidwell, psychopathic international criminal, has a simple mechanical combination lock and not an electronic one that gives an alarm whenever it's
activated? Very convenient for Lucas.
So true! Also convenient for Lucas (and for Laura and Sonny), is that
Sidwell is so old school that he doesn't keep digital copies of his
blackmail material stored in several secret locations. No! He has only
physical copies of photos and the negatives they were printed from
stored in a single analog combination safe. You'd think the drone or
whatever high tech thingy took the photos of Dalton in Laura's trunk
wouldn't have done so using roll film.
Looks like Liesl will be completing FaisonAs project in BrittAs absence. I >> canAt believe Cullum kidnapped during daylight hours, in what almost

Wait, how did he even know she would be there?!
Thanks! I hadn't reached the conclusion that Leisl was being kidnapped
to finish Britt's work. That must be it.
On Friday, each scene with Cullum discussing replacing Britt with
Sidwell was immediately followed by a scene with Obrecht, Willow and
Nina. The last time it happened, Cullum told Sidwell they needed to
replace Britt with someone who had a brilliant mind, then they cut to
Liesl and Nina alone in Willow's living room. The brilliant mind in that
room certainly wasn't Nina's, so I figured Cullum might have Obrecht in
mind, but the kidnapping was a surprise. I was expecting him to
blackmail her or somehow persuade her to join the plot--maybe by
threatening Britt or "Nathan."
It's disappointing that someone like Leisl would not notice a grown man lurking in her back seat. She was for years Faison's right-hand-woman,
and a mad scientist in her own right, yet she was so easily subdued. And wasn't it just a couple of years ago that she was kidnapped by Victor Cassadine? I want Leisl to be more capable than this.
I do, too. But maybe it's just down to aging--she's gotten older and may
have lost a few steps. Or it could be that she was distracted by her
worry over Britt, or discombobulated by her aggravating interaction with
the simpleton twins Willow and Nina. Also, as she got into the car, she
was talking on the phone to someone about Britt, so maybe she was
distracted by that. Or it could have been due to all of the above.
That said, Obrecht was acting very much like her old self on Friday
before Cullum grabbed her. She barged into Willow's living room where
Willow and Nina were giving Drew PT, demanding that they "stop this
ridiculous physical therapy immediately!" She accurately Drew's blinking
as an SOS, and observed that it was obvious that he hadn't had a stroke.
And she told Willow and Nina that she didn't care what scheme they had
going on, just to scheme better if they didn't want to be caught.
Vintage Obrecht!
