No one is surprised that Ethan knows Delilah.
We are kept guessing whether Phoebe is his daughter.

We arenrCOt surprised he has photos of Delilah.

One questions why he felt a need to burn the photo?
It seems that, if they were close, that he might have photos, videos,
texts, etc., from her on his phone.
I am assuming he doesnrCOt and had the photo in order to identify her once he found her.

Who can say at this point, but seems to me that if Phoebe is his baby,
he might have had a stronger reaction when Chase and BLQ said they
planned to adopt her. Not that Ethan would want a baby anchoring him
    down, but still.

I thought the photo was to ID her, too, at least at first. But then he
seemed more than a little upset by her death, so he probably had some
sort of personal history with her. As for the photo burning, my guess is
that they thought it would be more dramatic to do that than to have him
    delete it from a phone.
