IMO, Laura, Michael, and Ava all need to pay Jordan a visit in the
hospital for a little show and tell. Laura could tell her how severely Spencer's face was burned, and show her a picture of him later without a
mark on him. Ditto Michael and Ava--both suffered terribly disfiguring
burns, had miraculous treatments, and today look none the worse for
wear. Granted, Michael's miraculous treatments made him shorter, his
hair darker, and caused him to mumble when he speaks, but they added a
decade to his life, and hey, no scars!
If Jordan's own actions hadn't been the cause of her injuries, I would
be more sympathetic to her situation, and more tolerant of all the
self-pity that she's wallowing in. She's actually very lucky that jagged window glass didn't cut off her nose or her ear, or worse, gouge out her
eye. I'd like to tell her that she should get over herself and accept
help when it's offered. Eventually, there won't a mark on her, even if
she decides to go around with scars for awhile as self-punishment for
driving while under the influence of Curtis's pheromones.

Everyone keeps wondering why no one has offered a referral

A dermatologist took off the bandages and assessed the injuries. She
told Jordan that it she would need to heal before there could be a
productive consultation with a cosmetic surgeon, and offered to refer
Jordan to several excellent ones when the time came. But all Jordan
seems to want to do is throw herself a pity party and snap the head off anyone who tries to help her.
Dollars to donuts, in addition with going around scarred longer than necessary before having corrective surgery, she'll also try to cut
Curtis loose, claiming not to want him tied to a partner out of pity
who's been uglified in a car crash.

Which would exactly mirror Curtis's reaction when he was shot and
confined to the wheelchair. I'm also guessing that is how this plot will unfold. And that eventually Jordan will not have the slightest mark left
on her face.
I know that in real life everyone reacts differently to trauma, but
Jordan's character is so much more than a pretty face. It seems out of character that Jordan would react with so much despair and self-pity to
the possibility of many surgeries and *maybe* some scarring. I would
have expected her to quickly take charge, demanding to know what's next
in her treatment, and trying to force things along as quickly as
possible. Certainly not lashing out at anyone trying to be supportive.
For those paying attention to trivia. The genieAs apartment has been deemed similar to MichaelAs pad. Or some other personAs. Budget issues.
