So, Sidwell undercuts Laura and has Willow appointed in DrewrCOs stead.

Alexis probably has steam coming out of her ears. Especially given that
she knows Willow is the guilty shooter. But, due to ethical considerations,
she can do nothing to counter the appointment.

Kai and Trina know. Their heads must be spinning, too. As noted in the
other thread, will they be able to leverage the key? Will they finally have
to admit to authorities that they failed to come forward ?

I've been away for a while. Catching up now.

This must be causing Alexis, Laura, and Kai and Trina all to be on
mental overload. For very different reasons.

From Sidwell's viewpoint it does make sense. He can control Willow to
an extent he never could with Alexis. Although, if his leverage is that
he provided the drug that incapacitates Drew, doesn't he implicate
himself if he reveals that? Or did I misunderstand that scene? I suppose
he could make an anonymous tip leading to more specific toxicology on Drew.

I've been away for a long while, and still a few days behind in the
episodes, but have seen this one. BTW, I thought that scene between
Sidwell and Willow, in which he served her up a cold, hard slice of
reality, was really good--one of the best I've seen on this show in a
    very long time.

Sidwell would have to make an anonymous tip, otherwise the threat hardly
makes sense. He would also have to kill Drew, because once the effects
of the drug wore off and Drew regained the ability to speak, he would
not only rat out Willow, but Sidwell, too.

Agreed. The actor who plays Sidwell really nailed the iron fist in a
velvet glove delivery, reminiscent of all the good super-villains who
    came before Sidwell.

Agree with you both. He has come so far along in character development.

He is the epitome of the older gentleman with refined tastes and wealth to support those tastes.

His character has leveled very far above the single poker assasinator flop!

So true! I would also like to give kudos to the makeup department for
Willow's Cruella de Vil eyeliner, and to the costume department for the
scary peach pantsuit. Each alone wouldn't have had quite the same
effect, but the two together pulled off a very sinister vibe. A welcome improvement over Willow's former persona as a wet dishrag!

And not just that. He tried to blink SOS to Sidwell (like he did with
Alexis, who didn't pick up on it), and Sidwell laughed and said
something Sidwell-y like, "are you actually blinking SOS? Oh, please
    stop!"

Old Drew is in a terrible pickle, isn't he. I wonder how long it will be
before Jason swoops in to save him and Kai and Trina and Britt and Carly
and Lucas and Laura and Sonny and the entire city of PC.

Absolutely! No surprise, Willow is much more interesting playing the

It seems like Willow is out of her league with Sidwell. But she has

Jason is absolutely the keystone to this plot.

In the gossip magazines, he reported he will be off the show to spend time
his new bride. He said it is a hiatus. He is not leaving the show.

We should suspect Jason will be injured or fake killed, and sent away to recuperate. Or cold fusion will be used to revive him. And he will have to
    go to zombie recovery camp.

Just spinning some silly. But, yea, he will be taking a break.

Yes, it does *seem* that she is out of her league. Sidwell is certainly confident that she is. A bit too confident, if you ask me. Gotta wonder
if, when all is said and done, Sidwell will realize he's made a fatal
error in judgment when Willow turns out to be the bigger psycho. Hell
hath no fury, and all that.
