I really cannot imagine why Trina picked Alexis to go to

She certainly knows enough about presumed guilt having had her own
unpleasant experiences with her own sex tape trial, and folks not coming forward. Soencer was a bit of a holdout iirc.

I think Trina may have trusted going to Alexis, because DianerCOs firm represented her.

Had I been penning it,I would have had her and Kai go to the judge, not
Alexis. Which also would have resulted in some fifth amendment activity, appointment of counsel to preserve the little dimwitsrCO rights.

The judge would have probably had to declare a mistrial thus subverting any double jeopardy problems.

Except for the social damage after any leaks, Willow really cannot be
retried. Had the little dimwits handled it right, Willow could have been retried.

But GH is not a universe where justice reigns.

Still waiting for Sonny, Carly, Jason, Sidwell, Ava, Alexis, Nina, Ric, Kristina, Liesl, Jordan, Curtis, Martin, Portia, Brad, Brennan and a bevy
of other evildoers to get their duesrCa

WillowrCOs nonsense feels like the Pop Warner level when compared to the rest of the cast.

I wonder when Molly will finally catch on to the festering sores that
    populate her universerCa

Speaking of festering sores of criminality, unaddressed by judicial or
    legal process.

I still think of Molly as generally naive but honest.

Whereas I am still convinced Justine is SidwellrCOs agent, and why she doesnrCOt push Sonny away.

I am reminded that a few years back, Anna inappropriately shoved a file on Molly that contained statements about SonnyrCOs crimes, such as his attack on Dex, witnessed by Cyrus.

    Those cases went nowhere.

You have to wonder why Justine doesnrCOt have access to this evidence. Or, if she does, why she doesnrCOt act on it? After hearing all her speeches about her confidence in her pursuit of justice, she doesnrCOt appear as interested
in filing charges where there is reason to, not just against Sonny.

For that matter, why donrCOt Molly and Justine spend more time together?
They are coworkers who, presumably, may even work jointly on some matters. Yet, their paths barely cross.

I am also remembering how years ago, Michael hired Dex to take Sonny down. There was more than one episode where Sonny brutalized Dex. All that was dropped for family harmony. Michael watched Sonny gun down Jagger. Ok for
his kids to hang around crazy killer grandpa, but Drew is accursed and
should be barred forever for his sins.

Well, I'd say Trina was not thinking clearly when she went to Alexis,
the defense attorney, with evidence of Willow's guilt. Alexis is duty
bound to *defend* Willow to the best of her ability, within legal
limits. It's not Alexis's job to seek the truth, or justice, or anything
    like that.
The DA is the person to go to with evidence of guilt. And Trina and Kai
would have been wise to consult their own attorney first, someone not
involved in the trial. Maybe negotiate to get some immunity from
    prosecution.

I'd still say going to the DA is smartest, for the reason you mentioned.
    It avoids any mistrial issues.

Yes, accountability is a rarity in Port Charles.

I don't recall Michael being present when Sonny shot Jagger. Didn't he

At a minimum, he walked in on Sonny holding the rCLsmokingrCY gun. We always wondered why there was no video evidence. Bet Michael wiped it.
