This story is actually pretty interesting

    Everyone suspects the other guy,

And half the people are trying to set up their enemies to take the fall

A thought from earlier. Some folks believe Willow did it, and Michael saw
her do it, because he has been tailing her, because he believes she has
been doing dangerous things. Other folks swear Michael did it, because
they believe they saw him holding a gun when he was sitting in the car
outside DrewrCOs, while it was raining.

I didnrCOt see Michael holding a gun, but I wasnrCOt looking closely. Other viewers say there was no gun visible in that car.

As far as Willow : she was very vocal about not needing Nina as an alibi.
I doubt she would have pushed back that hard if she were guilty. On the
other hand, maybe she really did do it, and she was relieved Nina cooked up
    the story.

In the meantime, we now know Brick planted evidence in the safe meant to
    show Drew bribed the judge.

If I understood the timeline, Kai removed documents from the safe AFTER
Brick put them in the safe. It is likely that Kai not only has the evidence implicating Portia, but also, the bribe evidence. And the planted bribe evidence is apparently fake.

I read your comment before I saw the episode, and made a point of
looking for a gun. I didn't see a gun in his hand or in the car.

I doubt she would have pushed back that hard if she were guilty. On the other hand, maybe she really did do it, and she was relieved Nina cooked up the story.

For Willow to have shot Drew, she would need either to be lying when she
says she believes he's her only path back to her children, or to have
had a motive that transcended that belief. And what in the world would
    that possibly be?

I don't think Michael or Willow did it. I think they still haven't
settled on a culprit, and that when they finally do, it will be some
dirt bag like Ezra Boyle. I hope they're not going to pin it on Dr
Dimples, who supposedly has a criminal family.

Brick's involvement makes a huge mess of things. Brick told Sonny he put
the fake bribery papers in Drew's safe *before* the shooting. If he
didn't know that Drew would be shot and that the police would be
searching Drew's house, why would he have planted fake evidence in
Drew's safe? Who would be looking in Drew's safe other than Drew?

And since Brick wasn't expecting Drew to be shot, what made him think
that Drew wouldn't find the fake papers he had planted and destroy them?
Why *didn't* Drew see Brick's fake papers when he was rummaging through
the safe right before the shooting? He took out Portia's papers and had
a good smirk over them, so you'd think he'd have seen Brick's papers.

And why didn't Kai see them? Unless he lied to Trina about what he had
taken from the safe, the only thing he removed were the papers
incriminating Portia. If Kai had found Brick's fake papers, why would he
not have told Trina about them?

If Kai and Trina hadn't been in the house when Drew was shot, I might
think that Brick had planted the papers then waited for Drew to come
home and shot him--not to kill him, but to turn his house into a crime
scene so that the police would find the fake papers. OTOH, Brick might
have known that Kai and Trina were there, but assumed they had run out
the back door when Drew came in, and didn't know they were still in the
house. If Brick shot Drew, that would explain some of the above
confusion, but it's more likely that the writers just made a gigantic
mess of things by inserting Brick into the mix after the fact.
