TodayrCOs episode ends with Rocco typing an email to Obrecht.

According to Soap Opera Digest, she will be back

    https://www.soapoperadigest.com/content/kathleen-gati-returns-to-general-hospital-as-liesl-obrecht-i-am-truly-grateful-exclusive/

I am sort of fascinated that they donrCOt have Rocco reaching out to his fake dad, Patrick, who is still very much around and still very much married to
his grandmotherrCOs daughter, Robin. Rocco managed to question Emma without making any real connection to her dad, Patrick.

Yeah, I know, the actor isnrCOt available, working on another soap.

Also, isnrCOt anyone going to get mad at the kids for rooting thru personal files and property?

Yes, in which he referred to himself as her grandson. After all the
talking-to that he got last week by his parents and his grandmother and
etc, he *still* does not understand that Britt is not his mother.

Probably with Britt in tow, after having recently thawed her from a cryo
vault that she lifted from the goofy Cassadines.

Well, Emma *did* tell him that Britt had "got herself pregnant," so
Rocco, who seems to be one of the dimmer bulbs in the chandelier, likely
    took that literally.

    <tiny snip>

They're too distracted by the big parenting drama to do any actual
    parenting right now.

I'm happy to see both Liesl and Britt back on my screen - well, the actors - but
not only do they have to address bringing Britt back from the dead, but there is
the ongoing problem of Huntington's disease. Will they play out another story of
a character's heatlh deteriorating over a lengthy (for soaps) period of time? Or
will they magic the Huntington's out of existence? So many shenanigans in that hospital lab....

I am wondering if Britt will be introduced as JayrCOs twin, who was LieslrCOs other sibling

A while ago, Michael and Willow sat down with Wiley to try to explain how
Lucas was his father for a while.

    He shrugged it off.

That was worth more drama than RoccorCOs inability to comprehend

Good question. If I were foolish enough to put money on anything to do
with GH plotting, I'd go with one of the following, beginning with most
likely and ending with the least:

    1) They'll expect us to have forgotten Britt had been diagnosed with Huntington's and it will never be mentioned, or

    2) Britt will claim to have been misdiagnosed by a quack and never
actually had Huntington's at all, or

    3) Britt will claim to have been cured of the disease with some wacky
formula concocted by one of the wacky undead Cassadines, or because it
was frozen out of her body during the time she spent in the cryo chamber
where Liesel had her stashed, or

    4) Britt won't be Britt at all, but an imposter wearing a Britt mask.

I havenrCOt seen todayrCOs episode yet, July 21, 2025. They briefly showed her on Friday, boarding a plane. I am not sure, but I think I heard she was
    going to Croatia.

This is a strange enough destination. It is a somewhat popular vacation
spot for Europeans. Yet, surrounded by countries that are at war, or negotiating for peace. Seems the right place for WSB, crazy professors
doing energy experiments and secretive couriers. I think she is involved
    in that story line.

I am not convinced it is Britt, even if there may be a family connection to
be revealed. Even so, the HuntingdonrCOs did not really play a role in BrittrCOs death, even if the illness was in a stage of rapid deterioration.
She died from the hook. She was wounded saving Joss, but did not notice
she was cut til it was too late. Unless Liesl somehow got the antidote just
in time, and really did bring her back.

Britt gave herself a going away party. She had purchased a new identity
and a new passport. She intended to disappear.

Maybe she never died and acted on her plan to disappear.

    More spoilers from Tuesday's ep:
    1) they showed multiple flashbacks of the same actress as Britt
    2) mention of Huntington's disease and deteriorating to death were included in the flashbacks
    3) Britt (same actress) was shown in Dubrovnik Croatia (they said) being welcomed back by an off-camera person
    4) Jason tried but failed to get on Britt's flight to Dubrovnik, and then was shown on a flight to Port Charles.

I have no idea where they are going with this but Tuesday's will make it much harder for them to disappear the issue of Huntington's disease.

We were reminded last week that Britt died saving Joss, but now, instead
of having been impaled by Heather's hook, she was merely scratched with
its tip. Maybe they'll have it that a fatal amount of the poison didn't penetrate into her bloodstream, or maybe they'll have it that Heather
ran out of poison by that time and was just going around town slashing
people with a hook. IAC, they rewrite willy-nilly, which makes it
impossible to apply logic when trying to predict an outcome.

Easy enough to pull any old explanation of out of the ether. Maybe the suddenly-Croatian-speaking Britt isn't actually Britt, but someone who's
had a whole-body transplant to make her appear identical to Britt. Why? Anyone's guess. Or maybe there'll be some other equally idiotic
explanation of why she no longer has a wasting disease...such as the
original Britt who had HD wasn't really Britt, and the one running
around Europe in the pink of health is the real Britt.
