Martin met with Lulu to tell her what he knew about Drew...in public?
Really? Why? Instead of acting weird with a fake smile plastered on his
face and expecting Lulu to do the same, why didn't Martin just go to
Lulu's house and speak with her privately?

But oh no, they have to be seen together in public, acting weird and
furtive, discussing something that could cost Martin his law license if overheard. Martin tells Lulu that he can't reveal the source of his
info, and ding-a-ling Lulu gets up to leave, saying so sorry, can't help
you then. Huh? She's an investigative journalist (supposedly). Does she
not understand what an investigative journalist does? They investigate
tips to verify information and to fill in blanks. Did she expect Martin
to write the article for her?

While at the hospital, Anna and Chase compiled a so-called "preliminary
list of suspects" on the fly, based entirely on those they knew
personally to have been at odds with Drew, failing not only to add
themselves to the list, but to consider anyone outside their own circle
of friends and acquaintances, as if a congressman couldn't possibly have
made enemies of someone unknown to them.

Chase is a himbo, so that's his excuse, but Anna? What's up with her?
She losing her grip. Drinking alone in a dive bar and public
intoxication are out of character enough, but now she's running around
like a chicken with its head cut off, questioning people as they enter
her field of vision, no system, no order, no reason to any of it other
than that. Besides which, taking preliminary statements from potential witnesses is a job for a uniformed cop or a detective, not a police commissioner. Since there were no other cops on the scene, why not just
let Chase do his job? Or better yet, why not send Chase to question
Alexis instead of sending Dante, whose sister is Alexis's daughter?

And QB1 and Trina...OMG, could those two have been any more witless? Why
did they just not answer the door? Or since for some idiotic reason they
felt obligated to answer the door, why couldn't Trina have peeled off
her clothes, put on a bathrobe, opened the door a crack, and told Stella
to go away because she was entertaining "company"?

Then there's Maxwell Smart and Agent 99, the two most inept spies since
Boris and Natasha...oh well, nuff said about them.

In GH, their job is strictly limited to writing pieces for revenge.

On a related note, Hughes has been phoning it in. She is radiating abject boredom with her current portrayal of Anna. She is giving a very rCLwhateverrCY vibe.

I cannot imagine there wasnrCOt a single surveillance camera in the vicinity capable of observing their ridiculous stunt.

Not even a ring camera, in a house with a safe containing a valuable
    heirloom ring?

It's a congressman's residence fer dawg's sake! Even these dolts should know leaving through the back door wouldn't evade security cams. Except on GH of course.
