That judge talking to Chase ex parte was just too much. She deserved to drown.
Well, that's not usually a capital offense, but she definitely deserved
a reprimand or suspension. Or a removal, if she had a history of
reprimands for the same behavior.
But, wait, was it Sidwell who killed her? She reached out to him, and so
it seems right to suspect him. But, then, Drew would have liked her out of the way. Marco, too, once Sidwell reprimanded him.
It probably wasn't Drew because he wouldn't have had anything to gain
from it unless he had known that Sidwell and not Sonny had made the
deposit. I don't think that was what Marco told him. And Drew would have
had to have killed the judge himself since he has no goon squad and only
the one flunky, who would probably balk at being asked to kill, but IAC
has already turned against him. Anyway, at the time the judge was
killed, Drew was very busy running around town behaving like a massive
jerk and being threatened with murder.
And it probably wasn't Marco acting on his own (unless he's really,
really dumb) because he will have been discouraged from further
displeasing his psycho daddy. It's also unlikely that Sidwell would have
sent Marco to do a goon's job.
After her conversation with Chase, the judge called someone--either
Sidwell, or more likely, a contact in his organization several layers
removed from him--to report the problem. This happened right after Marco
told Sidwell that he had told Drew that the judge had been bribed to
rule in favor of Michael to make it appear that Sonny had done it.
(Jeez, only on a soap. LOL!) So although I could be wrong (because logic
is often throw to the wind), I think that Sidwell sent a goon to kill
the judge and throw her body somewhere it could be found, expecting a
police investigation to turn up the deposit to her bank account and go
with the most obvious culprit without further investigation. And that
will have been Sidwell's messy clean up of the messy mess his idiot son
made of his diabolical plan.
When the judge first read her decision in the court room, it appeared that psych evaluations had been ordered. They have not yet been performed. Michael asked for and received an indefinite postponement. Still, the evaluations should have already been done.
Because a lot of time has passed since the last evaluation, they might
want to order a new one before the next hearing. Willow's mental state
has deteriorated by a lot since then. In the last eval, there won't be
any of that goofy, rubber room stuff about Drew being so powerful that
he can reach across oceans to smite his enemies.
We have witnessed Willow stalking. Today, she presented ultra wacky rationalizations for recoupling with Drew as a tactic for getting her kids back.
Ultra wacky, because she's in a cult. News flash to Liz: Cultists can't
be reasoned with, so stop it! Besides which, Willow is just too far
gone. Her beliefs about Drew came up pretty hard against reality, and
that still wasn't enough to shatter the spell.
She may not do well in the exam. Fortunately, since the custody hearing
was postponed, she will not need to meet with Ric while he is literally
tied up.
On the subject of Ric...if those three nitwits expect to keep him
strapped to a bed with a ball gag in his mouth for the next 30 days,
then I suppose they've worked out just how he's going to pee and poop
and eat and all of those other pesky little details necessary to the continuation of life. Not.
The writers seem to be telegraphing a murder attempt on Drew. A lot of
people have threatened to kill him over the last few episodes. Lots of suspects.
Yes, lots of suspects, as in everyone. And I would say they've gone way
beyond telegraphing. They've practically taken out one of those giant interstate billboards to advertise it. I just wish they would please
stop with the "obvious hints" and get on with it. When someone finally
shoots him in his head (or conks him on it) and the chip or the worm or
a tangle of wires falls out, we'll find out the cause of the personality change.
As far as Stella, I feel bad she has hired Alexis. Alexis needs to have
her license taken away permanently.
No argument there!
Somehow, I feel Stella will be exonerated, without AlexisAs help. One of DrewAs holdings is the wellness company Willow and Kai shilled for. I can see that company having a medical insurance subsidiary. Maybe StellaAs actions will lead to an audit that ultimately exposes DrewAs company for defrauding customers.
That would be an interesting development. But if he wakes up from
surgery after the murder attempt with his Dudley Do-Right persona
restored and starts working to undo everything his Snidely Whiplash
persona had done, they won't need to come up with any criminal acts in
his closet of secrets to use against him.
