There is probably a link between MacierCOs illness and the cosmetic product
she was applying right before she collapsed.

Some have guessed it was a not really dead Peter. That wouldnrCOt really make sense. He was still in love with her. If he wanted Bailey, he could have kidnapped her?

There is a possibility someone is trying to sabotage Tracy. Todd Manning poisoned TracyrCOs products years ago. Nothing suggests he is back.

Maybe it is MartinrCOs ex wife? The one who owns the competing cosmetics business involved in the industrial espionage saga a few years ago.

Maybe, Sidwell and Sonny are targets as both had interests in the company?

The most obvious culprit is Sidwell, for whatever reason he had for
preventing Maxie from going to the cops to report that Sonny had
invested dirty money in Deception. I guess he might have thought an investigation into Sonny would have brought attention to *his*
involvement in the business.

Maxie is going to be off air til 2026. Social media reports Storms is in
the process of moving from California to Nashville.

Seems a strange amount of time to take off to relocate. It also seems odd
to do coma stories so close together. But if her employer is generous,
good for her.

Anyway, this means the reveal is far off.

If she's going to be living not only out of state, but all the way
across the country from a job that can't be done remotely, then how is
that gonna work?

BTW, doesn't Jonathan Jackson live in Nashville? Don't know for sure,
and I could be wrong, but I wouldn't be surprised if his last stint on
the show was cut short was because he found the commute too difficult.

Agree. But coma does seem to be a frequent cover story for prolonged
actor absence. And if she didn't give them a lot of notice, then maybe a
coma was all they could come up with. Or maybe they *did* have a lot of
notice, but were just lazy.

IAC, the "cosmetic accident" plot didn't seem all that worked out. How
could Sidwell (or whomever the culprit turns out to be) have known that
Maxie would be the one to smear that stuff on her face and not Lucy or
BL or someone else?

But if her employer is generous,
good for her.

She's been Maxie for a really long time, and it's easy enough to assume
that she's well-liked by viewers. She definitely *my* favorite Maxie!

Anyway, this means the reveal is far off.

Maxie waking up could be far off, but whodunit could probably be
revealed before then.

health problem that triggered a reaction.

I am still very suspicious of the strange unobtanium grade mineral needed
for the anti aging cream

Its presence might have something to do with the experiments Britt and
Dalton are performing.

Entirely possible. But even if so, the culprit couldn't have known that
Maxie would be the one to touch the cream. Maybe s/he put it in the
cream in hopes that Maxie would touch it, and if she hadn't, they
planned to move on to Plan B. Maybe that will come out when we find out
who did it. Or more likely, it won't be addressed at all because they
never seem to find it necessary to explain away the illogical bits.

Possibly. We know that Sidwell is in cahoots of some sort with Dalton,
even tho we still don't know whether Sidwell is the mysterious "He"
character (or maybe that's been revealed--I haven't watched this week's episodes yet). Assuming that Sidwell is "He" and that he put something
from Dalton's experiments in the cream, adding Dalton into the plot just unnecessarily complicates things, not that that would stop them doing
it. Or it could be that we'll find out that Marco had something to do
with it. Wouldn't Marco's involvement be less of a complication (and
more dramatic!) than Dalton's?

That said, I've been suspicious of Marco from the start. The way he and
Lucas met was too scripted--too much of a coincidence that Marco's
credit card ended up on the floor of the bar in Miami, placed just so
Lucas couldn't possibly have missed seeing it. And an even greater
coincidence that just a few weeks later, Marco moved to Port Charles.
The world is small, but not *that* small. So Marco might not be such a
great guy. Just recently Lucas confided something to him (can't recall
what it was now) and as soon as Marco heard it, he cut the conversation
short and ran straight to his daddy with it.
