To the point above about to whom this will appeal, I think that's one of
the reasons why Hasbro is licensing it out to TLS rather than doing it themselves - puts all the risk on the licensee. That said, it's rather
silly that Hasbro doesn't do a better job of promoting it - recently,
the official Shout Factory Youtube channel was streaming all the
episodes of the original cartoon live...then it was pulled. A little
promotion of the cartoon on the right channels to try and hook in
audiences new and old would do wonders - cost-effective and basically
free. Hasbro has long stated they want to be an IP company, not a toy
company, yet they do a subpar job of promoting their own IP.
