• Amazon "Prime Days" Transformers promoted by Hasbro are junk.

Amazon Prime Days are here, and it's annoying as hell. Internet
advertising and real life people cannot stop telling me all last week, insisting it's going to be good stuff, but it's never been anything
interesting to me, mostly always a bunch of clearance stuff that got overproduced and they want to flush out before it hits a landfill
    somewhere.

So Hasbro has "Prime Days" deals on their Amazon page starting today,
and it's all age 3-6 stuff from the looks.

    We have:
1- Heroic Bumblebee that looks like an evergreen Titan Heroes Changer 11
inch, 2- Heroic Prime that's slightly more complicated 11 inch but not
    by much
3- "Heroes and Villains" Optimus and Megatron, which are a 2 pack of
what appears to be Dollar Tree Evergreen molds, claiming to be ages 6+
    but not really
4- Playskool Primal Team-up, which is a 3 pack of Rescue Heroes 1 step
changer, with Bumblebee as a dinosaur, Optimus Dinosaur, and Grimlock
    that turns into a Motorcycle.
5- "Heroes vs Villains" 4 pack for ages 3 and up, which looks a lot like
Rescue Heroes molds recolored as Optimus, Bumblebee, Megatron,
    Starscream.

    ...and that's it.

They're also promoting the NFL Transformer helmets for preorder, and a
video of who I have to assume might be a football player talking about
    them.

Then they have more stuff at regular prices, a video about TF One stuff,
then clothing, costumes, and toothbrushes with Transformers logos

Then links to watch movies on Paramount Plus

Then they repeat the prime day deals, but add on:
6- Heroes and Villains Starscream and Bumblebee, some more Evergreen
    figures
7- Earthspark Cyber-combiner toys that Target had on clearance all year
    last year.

and that's their Amazon page for Amazon Prime Days.

If you go click "All Deals" It gives the same deals, but adds in:
    Optimus child's mask transformer
    Bumblebee child's Mask transformers.
Earthspark 1 step clearance, Rescue Bots 1 step changers 4 pack,
    Cog Changer Optimus Prime,
    Robot Battlers Sentinel Prime
GI Joe X Transformers Sgt Slaughter and TTT Kup - only $75
about 10 shirts including a 5th birthday shirt, which can be worn 1 day
    then dates itself.
    ..and boys underwear

Haven't seen a lot of good stuff. I picked up an extra downsized
"reissue" TMNT TechnoDrome for about $30 that might be good to customize
or something. Aside from that, I didn't see anything I wanted.

Zob (though I am jealous that so many people are finding Age of the
Primes Vortex but that I am not among said people)

Amazon has become a flea market of slop over the years, a far cry from
the once curated and best value items it used to be. Prime Day is the
nadir of the business - trying to conjure up an annual sales holiday but forgetting to actually provide any good deals. Price tracking apps show
that they often raise prices in the run-up to Prime Day so they can
bring them back "down" again to what they were and make it seem like a
good deal. Nothing anyone wants is ever on sale, it's just garbage
that's clogging up their warehouses...and they still can't let it go at
a good price. A total garbage event.
