Hello everybody,
Apparently there is a newer firmware for the board that is Y2k compatible:

PROBLEM STATEMENT:
PDP11-93/94 systems based on the KDJ11-E processor have console monitor >firmware containing a date and time function that is not Year 2000
Ready
PROBLEM SYMPTOM:
- Could not set date on Feb 29, 2000
- Year would not set beyond year 2010
- Firmware not correctly reporting date/day to O/S
SOLUTION:
Install new firmware (EPROM) that corrects all of the symptoms.
Part number for the EPROM kit is: 4A-KDJ11-XA
This kit is orderable through Logistics for contract customers.
Non-contract customers may purchase the kit through Compaq Assisted
Services and either self-install or arrange for a per-call installation
from their local Compaq Service provider.
You will not get a good grip on this spare part. Does anyone know what type of EPROM is installed - probably 27xx series and has access to the content of the EPROMS as a file, the EPROMS itself to make a copy. The data files would be enough for me, I have empty EPROMS and a programming device here.
Greetings from Mikesch

Hello DeApparently there is a newer firmware for the board that is Y2k compatible:FWIW, mine has two roms -
TB2 U006
V2.0.08.FEB.90
and
(C) DEC 99
HA9908 377E7
U106 V2.01
Hard to tell whether I have the updates or no.

If you can setup a date greater than 2010 you have the newest version.

I've got the files for the EPROM a 27512 and a 27128. - Got it at the PDP-11 group of Facebook
I'll check it this week - burning the EPROMS

DeYes I think so. Same labelling as mine. I don't think the U006 is
relevant to Y2K, only the U106 (certainly I haven't changed my U006).
