Sammy Parker never promised anyone a winner. Ever! He merely presented the listener
with entertainment on the subject of horse racing on a particular day. If the fantasy
produced a result, whether is was a winnnig ticket or a losing ticket, you were part
of the fantasy. Suckers aren't born every minute. They die before they get to the
front door. Dream for too long and someone like Sammy Parker might come along and make
it real.
Here's tidbit for the curious- champions breed champions. Losers breed disappointment.
