    February 17, 2026. To get UTC/GMT add 3.5 hours.

I began a new attempt at the exact time of new/dark moon,
    8:31 a.m., but that failed.

I began another attempt at 5:31 p.m., four minutes after the
first sunset after the exact time of new/dark moon. I
wonrCOt post updates unless someone asks me to do so.

Supposedly in Saudi Arabia they sighted the earliest
waxing crescent, though astronomers say that should
    have been impossible today.

We are due for another blizzard starting around 9:30 p.m.,
and this time temperatures will be relatively mild so
the snow will be wet and heavy and hard to shovel.

Anyway, I probably wonrCOt go out tonight unless I go
to the 7--10 p.m. open mic at OrCOReillyrCOs. But I do
have a supply of four tall cans of Black Horse beer,
for The Year of the Horse.

Kitten: Sam the cat is doing a little better now.

Last night and this morning he has taken a turn for
the worse; he has been throwing up a lot and is
constipated again and not eating or even drinking
    or taking his liquid medication.

HerCOs still doing fairly well today/tonight, is eating his food with
and without the medication, drinking lots of water, and
both peeing (twice today) and pooping (this morning)
in his litter, and not throwing up. Hopefully that will
continue. And if the evolution works he could live
    to 80, another 60 years. :-)

Would be cool to have an 80-year old kitty!
