When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow
not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not
spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt
not be afraid of him. But they were terrified and affrighted, and
supposed that they had seen a spirit. And Abraham said, My son, God
will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both
of them together. An evil man seeketh only rebellion: therefore a
cruel messenger shall be sent against him.

And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the
things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them. For
this was a statute for Israel, and a law of the God of Jacob. And
the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me.
And it came to pass on the seventh day, that they said unto Samson's
wife, Entice thy husband, that he may declare unto us the riddle,
lest we burn thee and thy father's house with fire: have ye called
us to take that we have? I thank my God, making mention of thee
always in my prayers, Hearing of thy love and faith, which thou hast
toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints; That the communication
of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good
thing which is in you in Christ Jesus. I will send thee to Jesse the Bethlehemite: for I have provided me a king among his sons. I not
serve in the presence of his son? That is, They which are the
children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the
children of the promise are counted for the seed. And they took all
the goods of Sodom and Gomorrah, and all their victuals, and went
their way. And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God
called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses,
    Moses.

For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any
thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad. When he was gone
out, his servants came; and when they saw that, behold, the doors of
the parlour were locked, they said, Surely he covereth his feet in
his summer chamber. And if thy brother, an Hebrew man, or an Hebrew
woman, be sold unto thee, and serve thee six years; then in the
seventh year thou shalt let him go free from thee. Wherefore take
unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand
in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. So the children of
Joseph, Manasseh and Ephraim, took their inheritance. And if a
stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex him.
Selah. But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he
hath done: and there is no respect of persons.

Then the king of Israel gathered the prophets together, about four
hundred men, and said unto them, Shall I go against Ramothgilead to
battle, or shall I forbear? So Gehazi followed after Naaman. I will
call on the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved
from mine enemies. And it shall come to pass, that thy choicest
valleys shall be full of chariots, and the horsemen shall set
themselves in array at the gate. My beloved is unto me as a cluster
of camphire in the vineyards of Engedi. Nevertheless death reigned
from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the
similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that
was to come. And when ye see this, your heart shall rejoice, and
your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of the LORD
shall be known toward his servants, and his indignation toward his
    enemies.

For the scripture saith unto Pharaoh, Even for this same purpose
have I raised thee up, that I might shew my power in thee, and that
my name might be declared throughout all the earth. And when he was
come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it, Saying, If thou
hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which
belong unto thy peace! Save me, O God; for the waters are come in
    unto my soul.
