On 14 Sep 2026, "Gab Virebent" <n2usenet@virebent.invalid> posted some

I have put a targeted filter in place.
It took time to get it right, but now is there.

Our checks found no evidence that a Virebent or TCPReset application generated this flood.

The articles passed through our Mail2News gateway, where the filter
    now operates.
No legitimate SMTP remailer has been blocked.

This followed my pointing out that some OmniMix users were posting the
    same article repeatedly.

You're wrong. I looked at some of the headers. There were identical
articles posted by m2n neodome -and- m2n tcpreset.

These were not one or two isolated duplicates.

    There were many.

It happens when there is an outage sometimes - which there recently was
with dizum and which is still ongoing. Stop acting like a child over a
    dozen posts.

After I called out the repeated OmniMix posts, someone flooded APA-S
    with encrypted junk.

    A coincidence?

Of course it wasn't. You pissed off another child and it had a tantrum. Expect it.

You haven't seen anything yet. You weren't around in August of 1996,
which ironically was .~very~. similar to the tiny sample earlier today.
You weren't here for HipCrime either.

You may not like OmniMix, but many of us running it reliably for years
    would disagree.

You're providing much needed excellent services. Thanks for that, go
relax and put your Don hat on.

No, it is you yourself, who causes those duplicate postings, and in
addition to that the current spam plague, you incompetent asshole!

Be nice. He's working on it.

Too complicated for me. I wish it weren't so.
