    That would mean that

    a) OmniMix can post through tcpreset, which I doubt,
    and

It certainly can. Just change the m2n gateway on the Anon tab. That's >where it begins. Use any combo of legacy m2n servers, post sails right
on thru no dupes. Any decent news client works okay.

    You're right.

Add tcpreset to the group, you can get an occasional dupe if another
server posts the article first. If tcpreset posts first, no dupes.

I don't think posting order matters here, as the MIDs are different,
which in principle indicates different messages and thereby always
    results in duplicates.

Why is that bible spam originating from tcpreset only posted here?

Just somebody being a knucklehead to piss off Gabx.

Pissing off that troublemaker rather indicates a clear mind.

    Gab
    doesn't tolerate.

I don't like these double posts too.

so don't double post. we know it's you.

That's an incorrect assumption because many people will not know to
look in a log to see what happened. If their news client reports that the post did not succeed they will simply send it again.

Suspect the above isn't all that is happening here.

This seems to be a faulty combination, random dupes.

    "mail2news-at-dizum.com,mail2news-at-neodome.net,mail2news-at- mixmin.net,mail2news-at-tcpreset.net"

    The below, no dupes.

    "mail2news-at-dizum.com,mail2news-at-neodome.net,mail2news-at-
    mixmin.net"

I hope nobody tolerates that !
Thanks for the infos by the way.

    Another interesting observation.
Why are the reported dupes occurring primarily in a.p.a-s?

    'cause people are assholes.

It's because omnimix users never had so manies m2n gateways. They are
idiots, click send repeatedly as donkeys without any clue of what a
    m2n is or remailers.

You're an idiot. OmniMix has come with and supported multiple M2N
gateways for ages and never a problem with dupes.
