I invite you to abandon tor/onion.
It is my intention to bring everything to Nym Mixnet, including, of course, this usenet, onion-newsreader and m2usenet structure.

I also invite you to read the article.

Tor has proven itself over the years. I don't believe nation states are actively monitoring Tor. And even if they did they wouldn't be able to
use any timing information in a court case.

Do nation states go to court...?! They will collect and analyze your data
and with whom you are communicating with, via the Tor network and then
take actions against you, if you did something illegal!

They try, using various techniques. Mostly to see where it's going. The destination endpoints potentially have the most to be concerned about.

    Exactly.
In the Tor network, entry and destination points can easily be controlled
    by the same malevolent entity.
If an adversary monitors both ends, they can use timing analysis to
correlate traffic and completely break the anonymity.

The core issue with the Onion model is the lack of accountability:
anyone can spin up malicious endpoints at zero cost (a classic Sybil
    attack).

I wanto to propose the idea of tying a pseudo-identity to a blockchain
with a hypothetical 'onioncoin' and i'm working on it.
