• troll farm "ganging up" on servers . . .

probably most subscribers to a.p.a-s and other server-related newsgroups already use a global "ignore" filter on overview headers, e.g. "from *",
while whitelisting helpful (non-trollbot) contributors in their favorite newsgroups, so these daily troll-bot dogpiles may simply go unnoticed by
the majority of readers in these public usenet forums . . quiet as usual

but because most of usenet's active newsgroups are ~ 99.9999% troll farm twaddle (probably 99% of all active newsgroups are @100% botnet chatter),
to prevent newsgroups from appearing inactive, in addition to the global
ignore filter, i prefer to use the "!move(junk)" action to automatically
remove troll "regulars" from view, leaving only auto-ignored headers and
any whitelisted/watched articles . . . before purging newsgroups, outbox,
etc., i look at the "junk" folder to see how many dozens, maybe hundreds,
of "the daily troll farm" (their usenet masthead) were averted, and also
to be sure filters are working normally, and a.p.a-s is getting dogpiled
by some of the more secular troll farm aliases . . only doing their duty

i don't watch, hear or read anything mainstream (news, tv, radio, social media), so i can only speculate what "they" might be up to . . it's been
over two years since they depeered their google flood weapon from usenet (2024-02-22), so maybe these recent concentrated attacks are intended to counter the global "prohibited" icon (ignore flag) . . peaceful, bucolic,
and anything crossposted is also automatically demoted, purged, cleansed (doesn't help servers under attack . . . more of the same, wait and see)

if their entire planet is running on ai, then it's true, skynet is today,
so all their mediocrity has become ai-generated, robots are the audience,
the universal disconnect complete, mere mortals have nothing to complain
about . . this planet and solar system has been taken over by automatons,
the final generation of organics, a.k.a. "humans" will quietly fade away

Trolling is human nature. There are always those who stretch the limits.

One of the assholes who are screwing with dizum has moderator access
    on panix for example.

I'll let the sleuths figure out who he is.
