    An odd factoid from the Guthrie kidnapping ...

    Seems that "NEST" security cams STILL upload bits of
    stuff to the cloud even IF you cancel/lapse the cloud
    subscription.

    Frankly, we've willingly gone far beyond anything
    Orwell imagined for the "1984" total-surveillance
    state. SEEMS good, but maybe it's become just a
    bit TOO good ?
