Ya Know, Not THAT Long Ago, Zillions of "Security" Cams = POLICE STATE

Everyone is bitching because Brown University didn't
have MORE security cameras - even though it has a
LOT of them already.
It was not ALL that long ago that unblinking 'security'
cameras spying on you everywhere all the time was a
clear sign that we'd have gone to a total police/security
state ... VERY bad.
I remember the cover of an old 'Anarchy' comix in
the mid 70s, showing some punk putting a brick
through a street-corner spy cam.
I also remember a much more recent bit of culture,
one of the Capt. America movies - the old NAZI
villain explaining how his cadre had sown chaos
so people would WILLINGLY give up their freedoms.
ARE you safer with cameras up yer ass ? Well,
safer from WHO ? From WHAT ? Total surveillance
actually translates into total control. How many
pols/armies/copz/institutions would you REALLY
trust to to have total control ?
Ask Ben Franklin about this.
Ya know, collect a few video clips and certain
entities can make up most ANY 'narrative' to
describe the actions that it wishes. You can
take "Mrs. Brown going to the market to buy
cat food" to "Mrs. Brown casing the 2nd National
Bank in prep for a terror attack" using the
same video snippets.
