Senate Majority Leader John Thune took issue Monday with a new ad
campaign featuring President Donald Trump that is being underwritten
    with federal funds.

rCLItrCOs a great message. I like the message. But it shouldnrCOt be paid for with taxpayer dollars,rCY the top Senate Republican told reporters.

One of the ads that has aired in recent days is virtually identical to a
2024 Trump campaign ad except that the new version states it is rCLpaid
for by the U.S. government.rCY Another shows images of Trump accompanied
by a song titled rCLLove MerCY and captions such as, rCLAmerica will never be a communist country.rCY

Trump is begging, please rCylove merCO without that I will be up the shit
    creek without a paddle.

Many law experts are saying this kind of violation of campaign finance
laws is an impeachable offense. Besides, it is stealing taxpayers
dollars and putting himself above the our election laws. By any
definition this is rigging the elections.

Republicans are jumping ship in droves, Trump has become a major
embarrassment with his brazen criminality. Not to worry, the $9 diesel
at the pumps will kill him for sure.

It's good to make more and more Republicans on board saying the MAGA
agenda is revolting, but it sure would have been cool if they'd spoken
up while Trump was mocking the disabled, attacking the free press,
pissing on the Constitution, and starting pointless wars of choice.

Agree Trump shouldn't, if he is, using tax
    dollars for political ads.

However what amounts to a 'political ad' isn't
    entirely clear.

The TDS loons will say if his face appears
ANYWHERE in ANY context it's a "political ad".

Oh wait, am I being too logical ? Shame on me !
