Shoppers are mourning the elimination of several grocery store
products this year, from a nostalgic juice staple to cult-favorite
snack flavors reportedly being cleared from shelves.

Some 2026 grocery exits are confirmed, while others have been
reported by food outlets and shoppers.

Coca-Cola confirmed a longtime freezer aisle exit because of
"shifting consumer preferences," The Associated Press (AP)
said earlier this year.

And PepsiCo announced last year it planned to reduce nearly 20%
of its U.S. product offerings as part of an effort to focus on
products with simpler ingredients and functional benefits.

This is the micro-economy, profits and losses for
individual corps, not the macro-economy. Nobody
was starving in USA because of either Joe's Covid
economy or Trump's Iran economy.

A few years ago, kinda pre-GLP-1, there was some
kind of big landslide that cut off a small town
in, I think, W.Virginia. News people choppered in
to profit from their pain.

MOST interesting, scary, scene was of a town meeting.
Basically EVERYBODY there was just HUGE ... like kinda
literally roll-down-a-hill ROUND. Mom's, Dad's, kids,
cousins - TOTALLY rolly-polly. Probably a 9000 calorie
diet of carbo CRAP. Ever see that movie "WALL-E" ?
Everyone looked like those people. Teens with scooters
because they couldn't walk a full block.
