The American Bar Association announced it would eliminate
a diversity requirement for law schools due to pushback
from the Trump administration.
The ABA warned its requirement that law schools commit to
diversity and inclusion, including having a diverse faculty
and student body, could jeopardize its role as an accreditor
overseeing nearly 200 Juris Doctor programs, The New York
Times reported.
