Last week, President Donald Trump signed a proclamation lifting tariffs
on a portion of imported lean beef trimmings from unspecified countries
rCo an attempt to lower sky-high ground beef prices ahead of the midterm elections this fall.
Beef production is suffering in this country. There are many reasons,
the main one being drought condition, less hay means higher feed costs,
higher beef prices. We also can not dismiss market greed for price
gouging for higher profits. Capitalism at its best.
Cheaper beef imports is nothing but an election ploy, Trump wonrCOt tell
