    Very smart and talented and one of those "grand personalities".

    She stopped regularly showing up at events only in about
    the past month.

    So far no official cause of death but, well, she
    was 80 .......

    evangelical attacks on her for knowingly
    hiring (gasp!) homosexual staffers to
    work in her network of sending childrens
    books to poor families for free.
