Trump announced Friday that the United States would temporarily allow up
to 300,000 metric tons of foreign beef to enter the country without
triggering higher out-of-quota tariffs. He said exporters had committed
to selling the beef at 25% below current market prices.
But the plan has prompted unusually sharp opposition from cattle
producers and Republicans representing ranching states, who say
importing discounted foreign beef will undercut the American producers
Trump has promised to protect.

As usual Trump has con words rCyThe ranchers are great; theyrCOre my people.
I love the ranchersrCO but he doesnrCOt give a shit about anyone. Somebody dumped an awful lot of cash into his pocket so they can dump the beef
into the American market.
America first is his biggest bullshit, it is always Trump first that is
the way he has operated for decades. If consumers want lower prices,
they should demand he stop supplying weapons to israel and fill our
tanks with cheaper gas and put affordable food on our table.
