Top advisers for President Donald Trump have warned him that escalating military operations in Iran could deplete the PentagonrCOs stockpile of Patriot antimissile interceptors, which is already low, The New York
Times reported Saturday.

Gen. Dan Caine, the chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, was one of the
people who reportedly told Trump privately that continuing combat
operations against Iran could be done but it would use up interceptors. Another U.S. official said they doubted military actions would get Iran
to the negotiating table.
