. . .
VERY short memories folks ! Too much weed
and THC gummies ??? No wonder the left wants
everyone stoned ....
Also, wages did NOT go up with Joe, but DID
with Trump - offsetting costs.
Admittedly, 'groceries'/food IS kinda too high
right now. Some of it is diesel price but quite
a number of factors (SOME Trump's fault) are
involved. DE-flating food (or any) prices is
economically difficult.
Now, unfortunately, 'voters' in the USA (and UK
too) imagine that switching back to the OTHER
party that screwed the hell out of you is gonna
fix everything. This odd psych seems wired-in.
Biden's to blame for all Trump's failures that's why all the polls
are saying everybody loves Trump and what he's done to America. In
fact, they want those massive banners with his face put up on all the
buildings in Texas.
Biden is responsible for all of Biden's failures -
and they were MANY.
Of course Trump was just supposed to snap his fingers
and that'd all go away in an instant, right ? You're
thinking like a 5 year old.
The tariff games and to a point the Iran attacks are
responsible for some COL increases however. Trump is
not blameless. However we HAD to do something about
the trade imbalance/rip-offs. It is NOT going to be
painless, the pay-off won't be instant either.
There is no payoff. Tariff wars are a
zero-sum game, even Reagan saw that.
"When someone says, Let's impose tariffs on foreign imports,
it looks like they're doing the patriotic thing by protecting
American products and jobs. And sometimes for a short while,
it works. But only for a short time. But over the long run,
such trade barriers hurt every American worker and consumer.
High tariffs inevitably lead to retaliation by foreign
countries and the triggering of fierce trade wars. Then the
worst happens: Markets shrink and collapse, businesses and
industries shut down, and millions of people lose their jobs.
Throughout the world, thereAs a growing realization that the
way to prosperity for all nations is rejecting protectionist
legislation and promoting fair and free competition.
AmericaAs jobs and growth are at stake."
Ronald Reagan, 1987
