It's not working. We're STILL paying attention, and

By reports - maybe biased - the flow of especially
dangerous dope from down south has greatly diminished.
At minimum, it's now - as opposed to Joe Universe -
a very hazardous enterprise.

The flip ... it is more and more possible to make
very potent chemical analogues to 'natural' dope.
This requires very little from outside, just the
knowledge. Eventually we'll see genetically-
engineered algae or something that make the dope.
HOPE it doesn't escape ....

As a long-term proposition ... 'prohibitionism'
