An Affordable Care Act subscriber says her insurance plan exposed
what critics call a rCLghost network,rCY a health insurance
provider directory filled with doctors and hospitals that
allegedly donrCOt accept coverage.
rCLI was crying in a doctorrCOs office because I was so frustrated,rCY
Monika Ryan said. rCLI felt like I had nowhere to take my 4-month-old
baby for a check-up. It was a brick wall after a brick wall.rCY
Ryan enrolled her family with Ambetter from Meridian at the end
of 2025 after their previous Marketplace insurer, Molina
Healthcare, stopped providing coverage.
She said Molina had provided affordable, reliable coverage for
years, including during the birth of one child and treatment
for another childrCOs broken arm.
When the family searched for replacement coverage, they say
Ambetter appeared to be the most affordable option. They say
some insurers with longer histories, such as Blue Cross Blue
Shield and Priority Health, were financially out of reach even
with premium tax credits.
Ryan said she double-checked with a representative who assured
them the plan worked with doctors listed as nearby and in-network.
. . .
Yet MORE mega-fraud ...
Take govt money, PRETEND to provide something - but
you get a stick up the ass instead.
