oWhat still exists in the system to slow that down?o Nicolle Wallace asked ObamaAs CIA Director John Brennan.
oThereAs still a legion of professionals in the law enforcement environment, Department of Justice, as well as the CIA and other places,o Brennan said.
oThe ones who are refusing to follow politically motivated prosecutions, those who are refusing to support any type of political activities in the part of the Trump administration that are inconsistent with the authorities, the responsibilities of the intelligence community, law enforcement community, and Department of Justice,o Brennan confidently said to Nicolle Wallace.
oSo, we have to rely on these individuals to stand up to their professional responsibilities and also to courts, to the judgesao Brennan said.
Brennan continued, oWhat has happened to our institutions is really going to have longstanding damage to these institutions.o

Get your facts right.
1. The border.
We disagree on the importance of that issue.
2. The green new scam. Defunding the waste and idiocy.
We disagree on this as well. Mitigating the human effects on the
planet's ecology should be of paramount importance.
3. Fossil fuel production instead of attacks.
Yes, Biden produced oil instead of attacking those who have it.
4. Once again energy independent.
We have been since 2019 thanks to supportive policies for fracking
from Bush and Obama.
5. DEI, Woke policies especially in government or government funded institutions.
Hire the best person for the job, period.
Trump should take that advice. The incompetent loyalists he's hired
have us stuck in a mess in the Persian Gulf because they didn't
properly plan and because they didn't understand this simple fifth
grade equation: bombs + middle east = rising gas prices. How could
they have been so stupid as to think Iran would NOT close Hormuz?
6. Dismantling corrupt, slush fund organizations like USAID.
Destroying our soft power around the globe.
7. Tax relief. No tax on tips, overtime, $1000 seed money for newborns etc.
A: Lots of tax relief for the rich, minor tax relief buying votes
from blue collars who feel betrayed by the effects of his policies.
And lets not forget his massive expansion, as usual, of the debt.
8. Ending ridiculous, corrupt, foreign aid programs especially to countries where
the leadership siphons the money and the citizens get little to nothing.
Which miniscule cash payments buy us cooperation in global affairs.
9. Shutting down the US World Piggy Bank. Let other nations contribute instead
of relying on the US.
The worst mistake of all. Trump is crushing the dollar as a unit of
global trade. Worse than losing control is the loss of intelligence.
We used to know where every barrel of oil, where every kilo of
cocaine and where ever illicit fortune on earth was deposited Because
WE controlled the planet's banking system. Not anymore. Trump has
actively worked to reduce dollar values on this planet then when the
interest on the debt ballooned, he realized his mistake but is unable
to put the Genie back in the bottle.
10. Requiring NATO countries to pay their fair share.
I won't quibble with forcing Europe to see to European security. We
have enough on our plate with the Pacific.
11. Bringing manufacturing and other jobs back to America.
<https://share.google/aimode/z93Txp0RHkF8kyiOg>
You're going nowhere using White House Press releases to disseminate
the state of the economy.
Manufacturing jobs are NOT booming. <https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/MANEMP>
12. Growth in PRIVATE SECTOR jobs vs government bloat.
Yet federal payrolls are up while private sector unemployment is flat.
<https://www.bls.gov/charts/employment-situation/civilian-unemployment-rate.htm>
13. Reducing government bloat.
It was baloney when you said it in 12 above. Repeating a falsehood
doesn't make it true. (unless you're MAGA)
Government debt has exploded again. <https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/GFDEBTN>
14. Fair trade policies. A mixed bag. Good idea, bad execution IMHO.
Our trade policies were already fair and we had a successful trading
policy.
So unlike the leftists I am able to say what I don't like about Trump/republicans
rather than defending the nest like they do. And I said some off these before.
I am somewhat of an isolationist, not extreme, but believe the US should >not stick it's nose into other countries affairs.
Too late for that. The planet is too small. Internal decisions other nations make affect us.
Trade where both sides can benefit and live and let live.
Which has always been an American specialty. Trump, otoh, has thrown
away generations of successful trade policy because of some delusion
that he can bring manufacturing back by forcing inflation on the
populace.
1. Involvement in foreign wars when EU and Middle Eastern countries are in >proximity and should take care of their own affairs.
Then explain Trump's Iran policy, why it has resulted in the closure
of Hormuz and why Trump is now facing pressure across the globe to fix
this mistake.
We should not be in Ukraine IMHO.
Except for a few Intel professionals and technicians, we aren't. This
right wing fantasy that the US has sent troops to Ukraine is
ludicrous.
As for Iran, while it is true they hate America and would
jump at any opportunity to destroy us, the fact remains that if they tried, we
could turn the entire country to glass in a very short time. And they know that.
2. Foreign policy that is all over the map. Yea, Biden was a laughing stock on
the global stage
No, he wasn't. He was globally respected and the world breathed a
collective sigh of relief when he replaced the asshole in 2020.
Trump otoh, IS a laughingstock. Foreign leaders are caught on tape
making fun of him. In between bouts of laughing at Trump, our former
allies are busily working out how best to punish the United States for Trump's irresponsible actions.
but at least he was consistent whatever the policy which was
mostly appeasement which never turns out well.
Another rightist lie. Biden was not an appeaser. He worked mightily
to help Ukraine resist Russia. Trump, otoh, has done nothing BUT
appease the invader. He has TACOed his way through a term and a half.
When the going gets tough, Trump runs away.
3. Trump needs to shut his piehole and especially stop turning every event >into a bragging session about himself. I've said before I find it difficult >to listen to him.
Yet you still don't understand the significance of that character flaw
in policy formulation?
4. A focus on his legacy and self glorification. The ballroom is ridiculous IMHO.
Repair it, fix it, do whatever is necessary to maintain it and let it go. >Putting his name on things. Gold statues and such are idiotic IMHO.
Again, you don't get what that means to his policies? He's selling
America, enriching himself at the public expense while grandly
proclaiming his Imperial desires. His lust for gold ornamentation
might be seen as in poor taste. But taken with his other character
traits, especially his narcissism and it can be seen that the lust is
for more than shiny surfaces.
5. Asinine ideas like taking over Greenland, Cuba, destroying Iran completely
and so forth.
6. Trying to run foreign policy like a business. It doesn't work that way.
And you still support his foreign policy?
7. Coming on strong and then backing down. IOw changing his mind and I'm not >clear on whether he listens to his advisors or even if so, are they just >yessing him because they are afraid of him.
TACO insists on being told what he wants to hear. Telling him the
truth gets you fired and, when possible, investigated by the FBI and
charged by the DoJ.
DoJ has never been so used as a tool of political revenge. He said
plainly in project 2025 he was going to have revenge. You think a
President driven by revenge fuel by yes men has the makings of a sound government?
Time will tell whether things settle down, get better or get worse.
Just the border, elimination of the green new scam, and the lack of moral clarity
that the democrats display is enough for me to be satisfied they are not in power.
They will get worse. Oh, yes, they will. See, most Americans think
America as strong. We are, but we are not alone. Without allies, we
are nothing.
Example. Carney has stopped exporting canola rapeseed and cut exports
of canola oil to the US. Our national supply of cooking oil may not
mean much to you, but when a Restaurant chain of 30 stores sees it's
cooking oil bill go up $300K, that makes a difference to the economy.
Canola oil is everywhere and the Ukraine war, which Trump couldn't be bothered to do anything about, has also dramatically cut global
sunflower oil supplies.
Inflation due to scarcity.
Everything Trump touches turns to shit.
What's worse is, you know that's true but you still support him.

They will get worse. Oh, yes, they will. See, most Americans think
America as strong. We are, but we are not alone. Without allies, we
are nothing.
Friendship has to be earned.
Example. Carney has stopped exporting canola rapeseed and cut exports
of canola oil to the US. Our national supply of cooking oil may not
mean much to you, but when a Restaurant chain of 30 stores sees it's
cooking oil bill go up $300K, that makes a difference to the economy.
Canola oil is everywhere and the Ukraine war, which Trump couldn't be
bothered to do anything about, has also dramatically cut global
sunflower oil supplies.
