Worth pointing out the difference between what we call rCLhuman rightsrCY,
and what the USians refer to as rCLcivil rightsrCY.

As far as I understand it, the concept of rCLcivil rightsrCY is directly
based on those rCLrightsrCY that are spelled out in the Efc|Efc+ Constitution. If itrCOs not mentioned in there, then you donrCOt get it.

Whereas rCLhuman rightsrCY are supposed to be something fundamental and universal, recognized as the right thing by just about everybody,
    regardless of their legal system.

An example of the difference is the right to privacy. This is regarded
as a basic human right. Sure, some will immediately mention the 4th
Amendment of the US Constitution on rCLUnreasonable Search and SeizurerCY,
but that only restricts what the Government can do, it doesnrCOt prevent private companies from snooping on you.

Different human rights in European Conventions on Human Rights are not "recognized as the right thing by just about everybody" in the Council
of Europe, as many Contracting States to the European sham Court of
Human Rights refuse to ratify many of these rights.

I am not able to crosspost to all groups. Sorry!
